- Provide leadership and guide the kitchen staff to meet operational and company goals.
- Assist in all positions in the kitchen as needed.
- Maintain food quality and ensure that all recipe books are being used.
- Enforce sanitation and food safety rules.
- Assist with cost control.
- Ensure proper kitchen protocol and compliance with human resource procedures.
- Create an environment of both-win management, and model our company values on a daily basis to include treating others with honesty, dignity and respect.
- Interview, schedule, train, supervise, and coach.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 1-2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends.
- Professional and positive attitude.
- Ability to effectively manage in the absence of the kitchen manager.
- Valid food handler's card by date of hire.
