Description At Chick-fil-A, Team Leaders are responsible for assisting the leadership team in all aspects of shift leadership and ensuring that each restaurant guest receives quality food served from a clean and safe environment. Team Leaders are responsible for supervising assigned stations for an entire shift and will be responsible to open or close the restaurant, following established opening and closing procedures. Team Leaders are responsible for leading their shift, which includes, but is not limited to, ensuring that our guests have a remarkable experience, holding team members accountable for maintaining standards, effective and positive communication, ownership of their entire shift, and maintaining equipment. Requirements
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Must have a source of reliable transportation
- Reading, writing, and basic math and effective verbal communication/interpersonal skills required
- Must be willing to work in hot, noisy and fast paced environment
- Mobility, light lifting (up to 50 lbs) and standing on feet required during entire shifts, up to 8 hours
- Must work well under pressure
- Must be able to respond to changes or edits to orders quickly and efficiently
- Must be be at least 18 years old or a high school graduate
- Previous leadership experience preferred
- 2 years previous kitchen experience required with references
- Must be able to resolve conflict and solve issues amongst the team
- Must be able to open or close the restaurant at least two times a week
- Honesty, humility and hustle are a must
- Bilingual (Spanish and English) preferred
- Must be able to pass background check
- Servant leadership mentality required
- Must be willing and able to to comply with all local, state and Chick-fil-A Corporate regulations and guidelines
