Job DescriptionJob Description Ensure efficient organizational performance through gathering, sharing, and storing information. Analyze business processes and gather information across an organization to determine the most effective platforms for sharing and storing knowledge. Collect and integrate information, data, and content from departments and functions within the organization. Record and digitize information and ensure that it is stored safely and is secured through encryption or an antivirus. Produce reports and business intelligence for improving processes, products, or services. Provide education and training to end users on front end knowledge management system and reports. Provide content updates on knowledge management portals or sites.Job ResponsibilityWork assignments are varied and require interpretation and independent decisions on course ofaction •With general guidance, responsible for working on assignments of limited to moderate complexity •Regularly exercises independent judgment on matters of significance within defined procedures to determine appropriate actions/approaches •Understands department,division, corporate strategy and operating objectives, including impacts •Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations •Decisions may be guided by precedent, previous experience, and known professional guidelines and compliance requirements. Often required to interpret policies, standards, requirements, and approaches to meet work objectives •Identifies potential technical/business issues •Requires minimal direction. Seeks guidance where needed.
