The Joseph Eddie Ballard Western Kentucky Veterans Center is a 156-bed long-term care facility, located in beautiful Hanson, Kentucky, that is committed to serving Kentuckys Veterans by fostering independence, preserving dignity and providing compassionate care. We are currently seeking a self-motivated, energetic individual for the position of KY Veterans Ctr. Safety and Security Officer. The ideal candidate will work within a team-centered environment to meet our commitment to serve Kentuckys Veterans. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Provides safety and security duties for our facility, buildings and grounds, provides transportation of residents to required appointments, and protects against trespass, theft, fire and other hazards. Performs patrol duties of buildings and grounds. Maintains daily logs of persons entering and leaving buildings after designated times. Screens employees and visitors at entry.
