Our client is seeking a skilled L2 Application/Platform Support Engineer with 3-4 years of experience for an onsite role in Charlotte, NC, or New York City.
Job Description & Key Responsibilities:
- Systems Management: Lead or participate in managing all installed systems and infrastructure within the Systems Operations functional area.
- Efficiency & Automation: Enhance system efficiency and automate tasks requiring manual intervention.
- Analysis & Review: Evaluate complex operational systems, application software, and technology initiatives to ensure maximum availability.
- Technical Deliverables: Fulfill technical objectives with a solid understanding of operational standards and processes.
- Solution Development: Analyze large-scale technology solutions, assessing technical challenges and aligning with business goals.
- Collaboration: Partner with senior technical experts, business teams, and external groups to resolve complex issues and optimize infrastructure.
- Incident & Problem Management: Handle incidents efficiently and follow best practices for problem management.
- Change Management: Oversee and implement changes within the operational environment.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft SQL and MongoDB, including creating and optimizing queries.
- Experience with Splunk, GCL, and other observability tools.
- Familiarity with Java and .Net application logs.
- Networking and cybersecurity knowledge (optional but preferred).
