Lab Engineer Job Responsibilities :
  • Lab Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the R&D laboratory, ensuring a safe, efficient, and productive work environment.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate and manage multiple R&D projects, ensuring timely completion and alignment with company goals and customer requirements.
  • Testing and Validation: Develop, implement, and oversee testing protocols for thermal and mechanical performance of liquid cooling solutions.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all laboratory equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and serviced as needed.
  • Safety Compliance: Maintain and enforce safety protocols and compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Data Analysis: Oversee data collection, analysis, and interpretation to support product development and improvement.
  • Documentation: Ensure thorough and accurate documentation of all experiments, tests, and procedures.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product development, and sales, to support project needs and objectives.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance lab efficiency and effectiveness.
Lab Engineer Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Thermal Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in laboratory environment, with a focus on thermal and mechanical testing.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of thermal management, fluid dynamics, and mechanical testing methodologies.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information.
  • Problem-Solving: Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Safety Awareness: In-depth understanding of laboratory safety protocols and regulations.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficiency in using laboratory management software and data analysis tools.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
