The Lab Log-In Technician I must be team oriented, proactive and goal driven. This position is responsible for receiving oil and gas samples and the log-in (data entry) of the Chain of Custody and sample information into the LIMS system. Works under the general supervision of the Log-In Supervisor.Job Responsibilities:
- Review paperwork for all incoming samples to ensure completeness and correctness;
- Inspect samples to ensure sample matrix and integrity is not compromised;
- Ensure all samples are placed in proper storage area to await analysis;
- Assist with customer/client questions via phone and e-mail as needed;
- Clerical duties such as filing, faxing, scanning, mailing, etc. as needed;
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year data entry skills;
- Previous customer service experience required;
- Must be proficient in MS Office.
Education:High school diploma or GED.Relocation:This position is not eligible for relocation.Travel Requirements:This position does not require travel.Work Schedule:This position will work 8 hours, Monday-Friday in the Pleasanton, TX Office.
