locationsClinic Oncology - San MartinClinic Oncology - TenayaLa Canada Oncologytime typeFull timeposted onPosted 6 Days Agotime left to applyEnd Date: January 22, 2025 (7 days left to apply)job requisition idR126492*Job Description:*The Lab Services Consultant acts as a technical consultant for point of care testing in the Hospital and/or Medical Group clinics by supporting the overall operation of point of service laboratory testing and assuring regulatory compliance and quality patient care in all delivery channels.*Job Specifics:** Benefits Eligible: Yes* Shift Details: Monday-Friday, 8-430pm*Job Essentials:** Acting as a technical liaison between client and reference laboratories.* Promoting and supporting the One Intermountain philosophy.* Ensuring improved, system-wide integration of Point of Care policies, procedures, training and competency.* Reducing the overall errors through auditing, monitoring, and implementation of quality improvement tools.* Effectively using, maintaining and monitoring instrument interfaces and devices. * Evaluating new testing methodologies and designing validation and implementation strategies.* Developing and implementing a standard quality program, monitors, training and competency program.* Maintaining site readiness for regulatory accreditation.*Minimum Qualifications:** Bachelor's Degree in chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory/medical technology science. Degree must be obtained through an accredited institution. Education will be verified.* MT/MLS/CLS certification or equivalent as approved by lab management.* Three years clinical laboratory experience.* Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.* Current driver's license.*Preferred Qualifications:** Experience with regulatory accreditation*Physical Requirements:**Physical Requirements:** Interact with others requiring the employee to verbally communicate information.* Operate computers and complex and delicate lab equipment requiring the ability to move fingers and hands.* See and read lab equipment, monitors, and documents.* Remain sitting or standing for long periods of time to perform work on a computer or other equipment.*Location:*Clinic Oncology - San Martin, Clinic Oncology - Tenaya, La Canada Oncology*Work City:*Las Vegas*Work State:*Nevada*Scheduled Weekly Hours:*40The hourly range for this position is listed below.
