Lab Supervisor - Hilmar Cheese Company : Job Details

The Lab Supervisor is responsible for providing supervisory and technical support to the Quality Assurance Team and Operations Team. Also, responsible for maximizing productivity of assigned shifts and areas at the highest quality and food safety standards. Job Responsibilities Support Quality Assurance systems in order to satisfy internal and customer requirements to include process evaluation and product protection programs; process specifications and standards; sanitation programs, HACCP and GMP programs; production labeling; and product storage and distribution. Responsible for the throughput and accuracy of chemistry laboratory. Provide supervision and development of FP/ IP cheese chemistry and Quality Execution Technicians. Responsible for generation of accurate results and information vital to the release of cheese products and operation processes. Assist in the oversight of calibration and minor maintenance of analytical devices in plants, including F - Ts, p.
