Qualifications

• Read and understand electrical schematics
• Ability to fabricate fixturing and perform board re-works, based on schematics
• Board-level soldering experience
• BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
• 1-4 years of industry experience testing hardware, including PCBAs.
• Experience using standard electrical test/laboratory equipment
• Oscilloscopes
• Data acquisition devices
• Digital multi-meters
• Signal generators
• Understand and execute documented test procedures
• Collect test data, document test artifacts, and conditions
• Troubleshoot electronic devices under test
• Clear written and verbal communication for Test Engineers and external stakeholders
• Proficiency working in a Linux/Unix environment is a plus.
• Experience with QA process and Hardware Development Life Cycle.

Typical Tasks

• Testing Applications and Products both manually and using automated tools.
• Install and configure software, use debug settings, and have technical ability to gather logs, traces, etc. to add to bug reports when provided with instructions.
• Run automated scripts, analyze failures and support automation.
• Identify issues, deep dive, troubleshoot, communicate with stakeholders, escalate issues, and provide status reports
• Assist developers or other testers and maintain a high-quality test environment
