Position SummaryThe Medical Laboratory Technician is responsible for overall daily operations and testing in the laboratory, reviews and maintains quality control and preventative maintenance records, inventories laboratory supplies.Qualifications/ExperienceEducation: Must possess an associate's degree from an accredited college or university.Experience: Desirable characteristics include at least two years' experience as a Medical Laboratory Technician. Must be able to follow directions and perform work according to department standards when no directions are given. Must be emotionally mature and able to function effectively under stress.Licenses/Certificate:ASCP or equivalent registry.Essential Job FunctionsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the following Essential Duties satisfactorily.
