Labor and Delivery Nurse - Universal Healthcare Resources : Job Details

Position: Labor and Delivery Nurse Location: Fresno, CA, 93720 Pay scale: $55 to $76 per hour Shift: Night shift Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized nursing care to pregnant women during labor, childbirth, and the postpartum period.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs during labor.
• Assist with the delivery process, including coaching and providing emotional support to mothers.
• Administer medications and pain relief measures as prescribed.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and healthcare professionals to ensure a safe and positive birthing experience.
• Educate and support new mothers in postpartum care and newborn care.

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
• Experience in labor and delivery nursing.
• Proficiency in fetal monitoring and assisting with childbirth.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
