TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Peterborough, New Hampshire, 03458 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Labor and Delivery/OB/GYN Job Duration: Shift: Nights, 12 hours Guaranteed Hours: Experience: Previous OB/LD experience required License: Current RN licensure required Certifications: BLS, NRP, STABLE Must-Have: EMR experience Job Description: - Prescribe and coordinate professional nursing care for assigned obstetrics patients. - Carry out responsibilities independently within the guidelines of accepted nursing practice, medical direction, and hospital policies. - Handle daily challenges and embrace endless learning opportunities in the Birthing Suite. - Be cross-trained in all aspects of obstetrical care within the Birthing Suite. - Collaborate with a well-established OB/GYN and pediatric group in a team environment. - Assess, plan, organize, supervise, provide, and evaluate nursing care utilizing the nursing process. - Maintain a patient ratio of 1:1 in active labor and 1:2/3 for mother/baby units. - Support a wide range of birthing options from natural childbirth to full epidural anesthesia. - Work within a facility that strives to employ and retain highly qualified individuals by providing equitable wages, benefits, and supporting continuing education. - Availability for on-call and weekend duties.
