THE JOB:
As a Labor Relations Partner, you will be responsible for managing the intake, processing, and tracking of labor relations matters, conducting fact-finding investigations, and overseeing grievance resolution processes. You will be a strategic partner who will collaborate closely with managers, HR Business Partners (HRBPs), and union representatives to ensure smooth labor relations operations, compliance with collective bargaining agreements CBA , and proactive resolution of workplace concerns. This is an on-site position, based in Yonkers, New York.
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
- Labor Relations & Dispute Resolution: Act as the primary liaison between management, employees, and union representatives. Manage grievances, disputes, and contract interpretations to ensure timely resolutions. Conduct fact-finding investigations and hearings to address labor concerns.
- Grievance & Arbitration Management: Oversee grievance processes, meetings, and settlements with union representatives.Negotiate Memorandums of Agreement (MOAs) to resolve disputes efficiently.
- Strategic Support: Collaborate with union representatives and leadership to ensure policy alignment.Analyze labor trends and recommend improvements to labor relations strategies.
- Data & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive records and databases of labor relations activities.
- Training & Advisory: Train managers and supervisors on labor relations best practices. Provide expert guidance on contract interpretation and dispute resolution.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Prior labor relations or labor management experience or prior relevant experience.
- Strong background in contract interpretation, grievance handling, and dispute resolution.
- Prior experience in grievance handling, dispute resolution, and labor negotiations.
- Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with union representatives, department leaders, and employees.

The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum - Maximum
$78,200.00 - $130,400.00
Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.
This position is eligible to participate in the Company's incentive plan.
