Title: Laboratory Assistance- First Shift

Duration: 12 Month Contract

Location: Holbrook, NY

Max PR: $23.18 per hour

Shift: Monday-Friday 40 hours per week, normal business hours; 100% Onsite

• Apprenticeship programs or bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (microbiology, chemistry, food technology or other related fields)

• Previous experience in another laboratory or analytical environment

Job Description

The Lab assistance provides support to the R&D Sr Scientists by preparing samples for external testing, submitting samples to the labs, uploading results and preparing documentations, collect information to support risk assessment

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain documentation, restorability and process according to the quality system in place, instructions and tools which are directly related to sample management

Sample management and Analytical tests:

• Weight samples (ingredients and finished product) and submission to external Laboratories.

• Creation of Analytical request

• Upload and organize results

• Organize and manage stability samples according to the protocols.

Results reporting:

• Timely reporting of consolidated results and trends to the functions concerned

• Reporting of abnormalities via notification and take immediate corrections

Education & Qualifications

• Apprenticeship programs or bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (microbiology, chemistry, food technology or other related fields)

Operational Experience:

• Previous experience in another laboratory or analytical environment

is an asset
