Laboratory Technician - spectraforce : Job Details

Title: R&D Technician I

Duration: 1+ months

Location: Alpharetta, GA 30004

Shift hours: 3:30 PM to 11:30 PM.

Pay Rate: $16.12/hr.

Daily Job duties (very repetitive):

• Perform product testing as described in the test methods
• Comply with GLP, GDP, and GMP after training
• Participate as a team member in testing
• Work closely with lab engineers, other technicians, and the lab coordinator with some supervision
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Minimum of High School Diploma, with some college-level work desirable.
• Experience using laboratory tools/instrumentation including (calipers, micrometers, vision systems, tensile testers, etc).
• Previous experience with data entry in a laboratory information management system (LIMS) is a plus.
• Average verbal and written communication skills, asks questions when uncertain.
• Ability to work independently once trained.

Additional Info from the Hiring Manager:

• The team is looking for recent college grads or those still in college.
• This position is very repetitive. They will be building syringes and then pushing fluid through them to make sure they work. Needs to do about 10 - 12 cycles a day and each cycle is about 100 in total. These resources need to be self-motivated and work alone. They are allowed to have headphones to listen to but can't be on their phones playing around . Interviews will be conducted in a group setting for a tour of the lab and then broken into individual one-on-ones with a team member.
