Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation, setup, and execution of clinical research experiments, ensuring all necessary materials, equipment, and reagents are available and properly maintained.
  • Perform routine laboratory tests, including sample preparation, analysis, and recording of results in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Handle and process clinical research samples with attention to detail and adherence to protocol.
  • Maintain detailed and organized records of experiments, test results, and observations.
  • Follow established protocols and safety guidelines to ensure proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials and waste.
  • Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment, troubleshooting and performing basic repairs as needed.
  • Support the research team in the development of new methodologies and improve existing processes to enhance lab efficiency.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Assist in the training of new laboratory staff or interns when necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or higher in a relevant scientific field (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related discipline).
  • Required: Clinical research experience with hands-on sample handling and processing.
  • Strong knowledge of laboratory equipment, techniques, and safety protocols.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to accurately record and interpret data.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a collaborative environment.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
