REPORTS TO: Operations Manager

FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt

POSITION TYPE: Full-Time

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position involves performing the day to day operations of a feed mill.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Bags feed/seed for warehouse and delivery
  • Operates bagger, forklift, and pallet jacks
  • Unloads trucks bringing in raw ingredients
  • Performs basic troubleshooting and maintenance on the mill/cleaning system.
  • Assists customers
  • Ensures the facilities are kept clean.
  • Helps to maintain a safe and clean work environment for all.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Takes responsibility for maintaining personal safety training and checklist completion on Snapshot.

    • REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Forklift experience is greatly preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
  • Acute attention to detail.
