Laborers for an exciting project in
Houston, TX . In this role, you will support our experienced carpenters by moving materials, maintain a clean jobsite, and measure/cut concrete forming systems for large concrete pours in commercial, civil, or marine environments. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES - Actively participate in Task Hazard Analysis (THA) meetings
- Utilize common construction materials, hand tools, and power tools (hammer, shovel, water pump, measuring tape, hammer drill, saw, demolition hammer, etc.)
- Successfully complete required training to use personal arrest system
- Assist carpenters with installation of form systems
- Properly measure, mark, and cut various materials
QUALIFICATIONS - Prior experience with self-perform concrete work in commercial, civil, or marine environments
- Understand construction terminology
- Identify common construction materials, hand tools, and power tools
- Proven commitment to Safety
- Work in an organized manner
- Able to work night shifts when needed
- Must have reliable transportation to/from the job site
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Must be self-motivated and can work well with others
- Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
- Ability to perform heavy lifting/pushing/pulling of material weighing 50 pounds
- Ability to squat, crawl, and work in confined spaces
- Minimum age 18+
