Laborer - Waste Connections : Job Details

Upper Valley Disposal , a Waste Connections company, is looking for a Compost Laborer to join our team in St. Helena, CA ! This is a full time, long term position with a reputable company.

The schedule will be 6:30am-4:30pm Monday – Friday with occasional Saturdays.

Starting pay is $20/hour. The pay range for this job category is $20-22/hour.

Responsibilities Include:

• Sorting material by hand and by operating equipment

• Reading temperatures in compost piles

• Cleaning equipment as needed

• Landscaping & general site cleanup as needed

• Performing other assigned duties at the facility as needed

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of work experience. Preferably in a labor type position

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

• The ability to lift more than 50 pounds

• Experience operating equipment is a plus

• Ability to work in all weather conditions throughout entire shift
