You will gain vast construction experience and have opportunities to grow within the company.We provide excellent benefits including Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance, Life Insurance and a Company Sponsored Pension Plan.Essential functions of the position:Perform a variety of tasks that will include having to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods of time, stretch, walk, climb, and bend under potentially adverse field conditions and be able to perform visual tasks such as back up spotting and be able to hear and react to back up alarms, per safety protocols.Job Responsibilities including but not limited to:Following safety rules, regulations and procedures is mandatoryPerform tasks involving physical labor at heavy construction projectsPerform selected demolition and removal of concrete and asphalt materials, fixtures, and other construction debris using mechanical and non-mechanical methodsDump, spread, and tamp asphalt to repair joints and patch broken pavementPerform roadside landscaping work such as clearing weeds and brushShovel, pour ad spread asphalt, concrete and other materialsMaintain a clean job site: pick up all tools and equipment and secure job site each day to eliminate potential hazards.Lubricate, clean and possibly repair machinery, equipment and toolsPerform material handling and storageLoad and unload trucks and haul and hoist materialsThe candidate must be willing to work long hours when required, some weekends and possible night workBe flexible and able to take and follow orders in an independent or group settingHave the ability to work in extreme weather conditionsQualifications:High school diploma or GED preferredMust pass a pre-hire drug screen (Drug Free Employer)Must have a valid driver's license or reliable transportation to report to work on timeCurrent OSHA 10 card holders preferredMust be willing to travel to various job sitesAbility to orally communicate with all workers and representatives on job siteBase salary range:Laborer$30,400-$77,500Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as related work experience, market conditions, education/training, certifications and other credentials, overtime when applicable, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.We are an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer and we provide equal employment opportunities to all qualified applicants without regard to race, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, color, age, religion, protected veteran or disability status, or genetic information or any other characteristic protected by law.
