Laborer - Plant Operator - CRH PLC : Job Details

Operates heavy, off-road type equipment (examples: drills, loaders, dozers, trucks, service equipment, excavator), typically found in quarry applications and/or provides manual labor at ground level, involving various duties around a quarry production facility including welding. Job is outdoors, weather related, involving manual skills, some math and reasoning and continuous safety applications around heavy equipment. SUPERVISION RECEIVED Works from general supervision from foreman on routine duties with standard policies and procedures. Refers problems and questions to foreman. PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Knowledge of MSHA (Mine Safety and Health Administration) rules, training practices, first aid and any other rules of safety as applicable to the specific task. Services assigned machine before starting operation daily checks oil levels, hydraulic, coolant and other fluids. Visual check of tires and overall machine condition.
