Laborer - Underground Construction (2 Openings) - Greenlight Networks : Job Details

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with various tasks on construction sites, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and safely.

Essential Functions:

* Assist with the preparation and cleanup of construction sites.

* Load and unload materials and equipment.

* Operate hand tools and power tools under supervision.

* Operate a hydro-vac for potholing and site cleanup.

* Safely operate a pick-up truck or bigger while towing a trailer

* Perform basic construction tasks, such as digging, lifting, and carrying materials

* Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.

* Collaborate with other team members to complete tasks as directed by supervisors.

* Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment.

* Comply with all company policies and procedures.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

* High school diploma or equivalent.

* Previous experience in directional drilling/underground construction is preferred but not required.

* Ability to travel out of state when required.

* Ability to perform physical labor and lift heavy objects.

* Basic knowledge of construction safety practices.

* Good communications skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

* CDL-A license preferred but not required.

* Safely operate a pick-up truck or bigger while towing a trailer.

* Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

* Ability to stand for long periods of time, able to scoop, bend, and lift up to 75lbs.

* Ability to work in the following environments: Outside. Hot, cold, rain, snow.

* Ability to be on call.

Travel: 50%

Compensation:

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The hourly pay-range for this position is $18.00/hr - $23.00/hr. The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
