Land Acquisition Specialist - Greening US : Job Details

This position is in Houston, Texas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Search for suitable properties and areas for Solar & BESS projects
• Identifying and contacting the owners of the sites as well as the relevant authorities and municipal representatives
• Represent the company in negotiations with municipalities and clients
• Scheduling and documenting appointments with properties and land brokers
• Participating in the development and conclusion of Lease/purchase agreements
• Building a local network and attending and organizing meetings
• Communication and coordination with project partners

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., renewable energy, engineering, business, or related discipline).
• 2-4 years' experience within the renewable industry or utilities industry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement and relationship building.
• Proficiency in data management, budgeting, and contract review.
• Building a local network and participating in and organizing meetings
• Communication and coordination with project partners
