POSITION PURPOSE:

This is a temporary, non-exempt position that will be reporting to the Real Estate Paralegal. This individual will be responsible for supporting Key Capture Energys (KCE) legal land operations including keeping data up-to-date, communicating with our title company, and facilitating the land acquisition process. Key Capture Energy is looking for someone who already has or is willing to be sponsored for a notary license. This is a great opportunity for law students or students in paralegal study programs. This individual will work approximately 8-10 hours per week.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare and send land document execution packages
• Receive and scan partially executed documents for legal team approval
• Facilitate KCE countersignature and notarization of documents
• Prepare and send documents for recordation and send executed packages to counterparties
• Scan and upload documents to the appropriate folders
• File hard copies and maintain files in an orderly manner
• Update Land spreadsheet regularly
• All other duties as required

WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS:

• Must currently possess or be willing to obtain notary license
• Pursuing legal degree or a current paralegal
• Must be able to come into office for a minimum of 6 hours once a week (M-Th)

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must have the ability to identify and distinguish colors.
