Landfill Gas Technician - Waste Connections : Job Details

Include:Ensure landfill gas and waste water systems remains in compliance with all Federal, State and local laws and regulations. Perform routine system inspections and repairs on the landfill. Work with Region Engineer and Landfill Manager to ensure compliance. Maintain relationships with landfill employees as well as consultants, vendors, customers generating industrial waste. Assist in landfill environmental reviews and audits. Perform technical duties relevant to the landfill gas extraction system compliant to landfill operations. Provide assistance in fulfillment of all technical/regulating/operational documentation related to the landfill. Assist in general managers administration of all landfill operations/programs, daily business dealings/communications. Analyze data and prepare summaries, recommendations and cost estimates for consideration by senior engineers and/or managers.
