Landlord Tenant Paralegal – Queens, NY

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Landlord Tenant Paralegal to work full-time in a firm. The ideal Candidate will have at least 1 solid year of experience in a similar role. The candidate will be responsible for record review, and all aspects of the landlord tenant legal process, including but not limited to supporting attorneys as needed with case management and ad hoc duties.

Responsibilities:

Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests

Assist with case management, including organizing and maintaining case files and documents

Prepare and file court documents and correspondence with clients and opposing counsel

Support attorneys in preparing for depositions, hearings, and trial

Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and handling correspondence

Qualifications

• Four college degree preferred – Bachelor's degree
• At least 1 full year of experience, preferably in landlord tenant law
• Strong communication, organizational, and client service skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management databases (Yardi is a plus)
• Excellent Written and Oral skills and must be an effective communicator
• Proficiency in legal research databases and litigation support software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Benefits

Depending on the specific client, location, and role, the salary range is estimated to be $70,000 to $80,000.00 and benefits may include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
