Responsibilities:* Lead a 2-3-man crew to produce 5-star quality landscape for our clients. * Keep the team safe at all times. 30- Hour Osha qualified preferred. *Proper horticulture planting techniques. Proper horticulture plant requirement understanding. * Ensure all equipment used is taken care of and fueled. Need to know basic mechanics for field fixes.* Participates in in-house training and have crew participate in safety/other training programs* Keep Yard, Vehicles and Properties Clean.* Operate excavator and other equipment as needed to complete the project.
The Successful candidate(s) will have a minimum of 5 - 7 years' experience and the following skills:* Must have 5 - 7 years experience working an excavator* Must have sitework related knowledge. (Drainage, Utilities, & Sitework Processing)* Ability to manage multiple crew members and projects, daily work schedules and required daily paperwork for multiple jobsites.* Ability to read and interpret Landscape Plans and Specifications.* Coordinate with Construction Managers and other Departments within the Company.* Must be capable of effective communication with our clients, design professionals and skilled craftsmen.•Thorough knowledge of plant materials, proper horticultural installation and construction practices.•Be able to operate tools and construction equipment.•Must be a hardworking, self-motivated, team oriented individual that is able to perform independently without direct supervision.•Ability to speak both English and Spanish fluently is a plus.•Must have valid driver's license.
