No experience needed. New team members must be motivated, hardworking, and dependable. Yard Techs is looking for a candidate that wants to grow within the company and is motivated to work hard and learn. Fast pay raises and promotions. Pay starts between $20.00 and $23.00 an hour based on experience.

Yard Techs is already the top residential landscape maintenance company in southern California and continues to grow every day. We are looking for new team members with or without experience in landscape projects such as planting, drainage, soft scape installs, irrigation, and landscape lighting.

Description

After training, Techs will

• Repair and/or install new irrigation systems
• Shop, deliver, and install plants ranging from annual flats to 36-inch box trees
• Use common landscape tools such as blowers, string trimmers, etc.
• Carry up to 50 pounds without assistance
• Drive Trucks and Vans for extended periods of time on both freeways and roads
• Safely use chain saws, pole saws, hedge trimmers to prune trees/bushes as required
• Install new landscape lighting systems
• Independently evaluate property needs and develop solutions to various landscape scenarios
• Clean equipment as needed

The standard work schedule is 6:00 am to 3:00pm. Shifts may start as early as 5:00am or go as late as 6:00pm due to weather or other factors. You must have open availability to work a full-time schedule to work with Yard Techs.

You must be able and willing to read in English. This opportunity requires a significant amount of reading and studying to learn and move up in the company. Candidates must be willing to take a background check and drug test before beginning employment. Candidates must be comfortable working alone and driving long distances alone.
