Zurich is seeking a Property Underwriter (Level II or Sr Level III) for our National Accounts Insurance team in our New York office. This is a hybrid role that requires two days per week in office.
This role will be filled at either the Mid-Senior or Senior Level. The hiring manager will determine the appropriate level based upon the selected applicant's experience and skill set relative to the qualifications listed for this position.
As Property Underwriter (Level II or Sr Level III) you will have a chance to use your marketing and analytical skills. Specifically, you will analyze and underwrite new and renewal business, under general direction, utilizing The Zurich Way of Underwriting Framework within delegated authority levels on assignments of higher technical complexity ensuring a high-level service to customers. This is a market facing position thus we are seeking someone with a strong sales execution mindset and knowledge of Property policies.Some of the key accountabilities of this role include:

Compensation for roles at Zurich varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. Other rewards may include short term incentive bonuses and merit increases.Candidates with salary expectations outside of the range are encouraged to apply, and will be considered based on experience, skill, and education.The salary provided is a nationwide market range and has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location where the position may be filled.The combined salary range for this position is$90,000.00-$165,000.00.The starting salary range for theProperty Underwriter (Level II)is$90,000.00-$135,000.00and for theProperty Underwriter (Level III)is$115,000.00 - $165,000.00.
