As a Laser Machine Operator, you will be responsible for making laser etching on tools according to work orders and customer requirements.What We Offer* $16.04 - $18.70 per hour + $2 shift differential* 2nd shift; 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM* Health benefits, including telehealth medical service* Referral bonusesWhat We Are Looking For* High school diploma or GED* Basic computer skills using monitor, keyboard, and mouse to access required software* Familiarity with AX production system (preferred)* Able to comprehend, follow instructions, and multi-task* Demonstrate acceptable written and verbal communication skills* Motivated self-starter* Ability to lift up to 45 poundsWhat You'll Do as a Laser Machine Operator* Check the specification sheet to verify machine is set up according to work orders* Check first drill for laser mark accuracy* Responsible for ensuring tool diameter as required on work orders* Responsible for packing tools into tubes or envelopes* Ensure second party verification for tool requirement accuracy* Prepare the required paperwork completely and accurately* Work independently and productively* Establish good 5S practices and maintain SQDIP requirements* Communicate effectively at all levels within the organization* Perform other duties as assigned
