As a Late Night Staff Lead, you will provide leadership and motivation for staff and teens in the Late Nite Program. Ensuring a positive environment for teens to participate in open gym, basketball, swimming, utilizing workout equipment, and various teen programs after hours at the YMCA.Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, lead and assist staff and participants in skill development, game play and social interaction.
- Teach sportsmanship and use teachable moments to implement our core values.
- Plan and/or lead Assemble Time.
- Assist with overseeing volunteers who assist with Late Night Program.
- Provide support in briefing staff and volunteers on program plan.
- Deescalate situations in a professional manner to ensure program safety.
- Assist with the responsibility for Late Nite staff and participant supervision and safety.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 18 Years of Age.
- High school graduate or equivalent (preferred).
- One year or more of related experience (preferred).
- Positive attitude and previous experience with teens and diverse populations.
- CPR, First Aid, AED certifications preferred.
- Complete online Child Abuse Prevention training on first day. Complete other online and in-person training as required.
