Laundry Aide - Vestal Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center : Job Details

We are looking for an energetic person that loves working with the elderly to join our Laundry Team.

Full Time positions available. You will be required to work everyother weekend

Get paid the same day you work with Daily Pay!

Qualifications:

1. Ability to stoop, reach, push, pull, lift and carry approximately 30 pounds.

2. Ability to stand on feet for duration of shift.

3. Must be able to work for extended hours as needed for the facility.

Responsibilities:

1. Washing soiled laundry:

2. Drying laundry:

3. Fold all linen and personal laundry and put in appropriate area (shelves/carts, etc.).

4. Stock laundry carts with clean linen.

5. Count and record all laundry processed.

6. Re-Mark any faded names on laundry/linen.

7. Deliver carts to nursing units and return empty carts to laundry room.

8. Processing personal laundry:

9. Identifies and communicates ideas for operational changes that will lead to improved patient/care/services and/or to cost savings or time savings.

10. Accepts responsibilities as a participant in the Eden Alternative Program
