Job Description Laundry Aide - Somerset - Full time - $17 hourly rate - The areas highest quality nursing care residence providing a warm and compassionate homelike environment in a beautiful new state-of-the-art community - Excellent benefits including generous optional medical, dental and vision plans, 25 paid days off, pension plan, annual holiday bonus, subsidized childcare on site, and free meal with every shift worked- 8:00am - 4:00pm including every other weekend - The Laundry Aide will perform laundry duties including sorting, washing, drying, folding and returning clean clothing and linens to residents including various other laundry tasks. • High School graduate or GED.
• Minimum one year laundry/housekeeping experience in long term care preferred.
• Familiarity with basic physical plant equipment and tools, commercial washers & dryers.
• Ability to move around the building and lift/carry, bend, stoop, push and pull carts weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to read, in English, frequently in small print and able to distinguish colors and hear tones.
• Full vaccination including booster (as eligible) required or receive an exemption prior to employment.
