The Laundry Attendant is responsible for ensuring there is an adequate supply of linen available to meet the demand of the hotel. Schedule: We are currently seeking both full-time and part-time Laundry Attendants to join our team! Essential Functions

• Receives dirty linen from housekeeping staff and separates linens and towels by type
• Washes, dry's and folds laundry following proper procedures
• Maintains the organization of the laundry room
• Follows all safety and OSHA regulations and other applicable state and local regulations
• Tracks and reports linen shortages, damages or other discrepancies to appropriate manager
• Maintains product quality standards by inspecting and properly treating stained or torn linens

Experience and SkillsMinimum Requirements

• No prior housekeeping experience required. Customer service experience in the hospitality industry strongly preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively and follow directions in a multi-lingual environment
• A passion for the mission, vision, and values of Sherman Associates
• Schedule may vary due to the specific needs of the portfolio
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local laws regarding health and safety services
