Responsibilities

• Efficiently collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Safely operate laundry equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of laundry activities and report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Adhere to infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Provide excellent customer service through positive interactions with residents, staff, and guests.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience is a plus but not required.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Ability to lift or carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push or pull a maximum of 50 pounds, and remain standing, sitting, bending, and walking for extended periods.
• Able to work around cleaning products.
• Capable of following oral and written instructions and performing routine, repetitive tasks.
• Residency within the service area is required.
