Starting pay: $17.50 an hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
  • Safely and efficiently operate laundry equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of laundry activities and promptly report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
  • Adhere to infection control and universal precautions policies to maintain a sanitary environment.
  • Provide excellent customer service by positively interacting with residents, staff, and guests.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Previous laundry experience is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with residents, staff, and HCSG leadership.
  • Must comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
  • Ability to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, and stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
  • Must be capable of working around cleaning products.
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.
  • Residency within the service area is required.
