- Area Manager is the liaison between the Operation Coordinator, field employees, and the client
- Manage work crews on job sites, may require working on jobsites as well
- Train new and existing personnel on mowing, trimming techniques for efficiency and quality
- Attend office & client meetings
- Assist in sales to existing and new clients
- Quality assurance inspections for jobsites and do upsells
- Complete reports on daily, weekly and monthly basis as assigned
- Snow Area Manager
- Other duties, may be reasonably assigned time to time by the President of the Company or Operations Manager
Specific Responsibilities of the Job:
- Pre-season & post season equipment inspection/equipment check in/check out is signed & by completed deadlines
- Manage crews schedules and the assigned schedules, follow client contract specifics, get client change order signed, and/or follow up on specifications or needs of office staff and/or client and field employee
- Work with HR on employee attendance, punctuality, safety compliance, uniform requirements, etc....
- Order and manage inventory for mowing, TLC, chemcare and snow removal departments
- Relay work orders, messages, or information to or from work crews as well as office
- Monitor work crew schedules to ensure that instructions are followed, deadlines are met and schedules are maintained
- Manage specific individuals on quality of work, attendance, training, and other performance issues
- Confer with customers to address questions, problems, or requests for service
- Inspect completed maintenance, TLC, chemcare and snow removal projects to ensure quality
- Snow Area Manger duties include pre-storm, during storm and post storm
Job Requirements:
- Demonstrates excellent communication and follow-up skills
- Ability to multi task on multiple ongoing projects
- Ability to work independently and resolve practical problems
- Highly organized and efficient
- Shows consistent professionalism, good judgment & respect
- Core & 3OT License Required
- License, CDL License is Recommended
- Minimum of 1 year experience
