Your work will shape and guide the sustainable decisions of investors, companies and consumers worldwide.About The Role We're looking for a Lead Account Executive to join our team of Solutions and Business Development professionals coming from top investment banks and management consulting firms. We are looking for a salesperson with a hunger to hunt for business and grow the NORAM market. What You'll Be Doing Working as a Lead Account Executive, you will be responsible for:
- Finding and generating B2B opportunities through prospecting target account organizations in the Asset Management, Wealth Management, and Asset Owner segments of the financial services industry
- Building a new portfolio of clients and expanding opportunities within the region.
- Managing the full sales cycle (inc. RFPs, pitch document requests where appropriate), including pipeline generation and qualification, through to contract negotiations, close and onward upsells management.
- Carrying and achieving an annual quota of new revenue of 1M USD
- Collaborating with relevant teams (data science, product management, etc.) to align on goals and expectations.
Location The role is based in New York, with options for remote or hybrid work arrangements.What You'll Need
- Strong experience in Sustainability, Financial Services and/or SaaS enterprise sales with a focus on solution selling.
- In-depth knowledge of the ESG market and experience selling to financial institutions in the NORAM market.
- Extensive understanding of the financial services ecosystem and how different stakeholders work together along with their priorities and business models.
- Demonstrated experience with long sales cycle and complex deals that are required to manage several stakeholders.
- Eager to prospect, including cold calling to develop new relationships to generate a pipeline of opportunities.
- Collaborative entrepreneurial mindset, strong hunter to grow a business, and willingness to work with team goals and an an initially applied team commission structure.
- Dynamic self-starter, able to take ownership and initiative, with high energy and stamina.
- Decisive and action-oriented, able to make rapid decisions even when they are short of information.
- Passionate about sustainability and impact, highly motivated, independent.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English (minimum C1 level-proficient).

In accordance with New York City Law, below is the annual base salary range for this position. Actual annual base salary is based on, but not limited to: experience, education, professional licenses, location, and business needs. The position is eligible for health insurance, disability insurance, life insurance, 401k plan, paid time off, and sick (and where applicable safe) leave.
