We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead with 10 to 14 years of experience to manage and oversee projects within our organization. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Java, Android, SONARQUBE, and GIT. This role requires a proactive individual who can lead technical teams, ensure project success, and contribute to the company's overall mission.

Responsibilities
  • Lead technical teams to deliver high-quality software solutions on time and within budget
  • Oversee the development and implementation of Java and Android applications
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members
  • Ensure code quality and maintainability using SONARQUBE
  • Manage version control and collaboration using GIT
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliverables
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
  • Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet objectives
  • Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
  • Drive continuous improvement in development processes and practices
    • Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in Java and Android development
  • Proficiency in using SONARQUBE for code quality management
  • Strong knowledge of GIT for version control
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Proven ability to lead and manage technical teams
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Relevant certifications in Java, Android, or project management are preferred
    • Certifications Required

    CERTIFIED JAVA DEVELOPER, ANDROID CERTIFIED APPLICATION DEVELOPER, CERTIFIED SCRUMMASTER

    Salary and Other Compensation

    The annual salary for this position is between $120,000 – $150,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
