Lead Associate Director - Customer Success

Chalice Custom Algorithms (chalice.ai) is the leading AI application for brands applying their own data and analytics in the real-time decisioning of ad buys. Chalice s software automates data ingestion, predictive analytics, and deployment of custom bidding instructions in a supervised-learning environment, where advertisers can visualize and test their custom algorithms. Advertisers algorithms can be deployed in all major DSPs, as well as Meta and YouTube.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Lead Associate Director at Chalice, you will:

Build Strong Customer Relationships: Build strong, long-term relationships based on trust, proactive customer service and programmatic / biddable subject matter expertise

Drive Strategic Customer Growth: Consult with clients to ensure they are achieving their campaign goals and maximizing the value of our platform.

Act as a Leader: lead customer success initiatives with impact across the company. Establish scalable processes to build a high-performing customer success team.

Consult on Product Development: Collaborate across Solutions Architecture, Data Science and Engineering to develop products and features that best support customer adoption and growth.

Advise on Company Strategic Direction and Growth: Act as a key advisor to the executive team, providing insights and recommendations based on customer feedback and market trends to inform the company's growth strategy.

Lead Technical Problem Solving: Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and product managers to address complex technical issues. Consult with customers on troubleshooting APIs.

Qualifications:

7+ Years Experience: Demonstrated experience in within ad tech, either in customer success, ad ops, client services or trading. Experience with data science centric and applied AI technologies is a plus.

Leadership: demonstrated leadership across functions, leading with integrity and respect, with a high bar of excellence

Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated ability to develop and execute customer success strategies. Experience in driving customer success initiatives that improve retention and customer satisfaction.

Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present complex ideas and solutions to senior stakeholders and clients.

Customer Focus: Deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to align them with company goals. Experience in developing customer education programs and resources.

Results-Driven: Track record of meeting and exceeding customer success metrics and KPIs. Ability to drive customer value and business outcomes through strategic initiatives.

Entrepreneurial Spirit: Thrive in a dynamic startup environment, showcasing initiative, drive, and a proactive approach in all tasks. Addresses ambiguity by driving clear, cohesive, scalable solutions.

Analytical and Collaborative: Proficient in analyzing customer results, interpreting data, and collaborating effectively with tech and data science teams to optimize performance and drive strategic decisions.

Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with programmatic and ideally, social, advertising platforms and AI technologies is a plus, allowing for efficient troubleshooting and guidance.

Location:

Chalice is based in NYC, with a hybrid office/remote work site. This role is based in NY, with the expectation of 1-2 days a week in office.

Compensation:

This role offers a competitive base salary with a range of $120,000 $150,0000, depending on experience. Compensation includes equity in a fast growing early stage company.
