Lead Baker - Michel's Bakery : Job Details

Michel's Bakery is a wholesale bakery with over 100 customers. Looking for an experienced bakery to continue production of our current line of breads and pastries. High level of organization required and strong work ethic required. Experience with baking bread a must. Must be comfortable starting your day at 4:30am. Must manage the staff. Spanish speaker a plus. Must be able to manage orders and expected product levels. Duties:-- Prepare ingredients: Measure and weigh ingredients, and combine them in mixers.-- Prepare dough: Knead, roll, cut and shape dough for breads.-- Prepare and Bake: Prepare pans, molds, or baking sheets, and set and monitor oven tempuratures-- Ensure quality: Check the quality and food safety of baked goods-- Manage supplies: Order supplies and stocktake, and ensure there is enough product on hand. -- Costing: Price compare with vendors and ensure the best price is received for ingredients. -- Clean: Maintain a clean work environment-- Supervise hourly employees and Delivery drivers.
