Job Description:About this RoleAs a Business Development Manager for AT&T Consulting and Professional Services, you will play a critical role in driving AT&T's growth by finding new clients/opportunities and developing strategies to increase sales. You will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying opportunities, and setting up meetings to present and close Network/Cloud, Voice transformation and Mobility/IOT Consulting and professional services opportunities. You will have the benefit of working with an experienced team to assist with your business development efforts. The ideal candidate is passionate about a technology sales career, business acumen, possesses excellent communication skills, and has a strong drive to succeed.Key Roles and ResponsibilitiesDirect Responsibility to sell AT&T Consulting and Professional Services with minimal supervision.Identify and generate sales to new customers and expand existing revenue within an established account base.Develop plans for business growth, including marketing and sales strategies to customers and AT&T Account teams.Demonstrate and apply consultative selling strategies to customer opportunities in collaboration with AT&T direct sales teams and other AT&T resources.Maintain knowledge of relevant technologies and services that drive customer investment to solve for customer's business, organization, and informational challenges.Maintain and forecast accurate module performance metrics to facilitate consistent growth that aligns with management insight requirements.What will you do in this role?Drive the entire sales lifecycle from prospecting to closing new opportunities.Travel and meet with clients at their locations, leveraging virtual meetings, phone calls, and written communication.Work with seasoned partners and management to provide subject matter expertise and facilitate the sales lifecycle.Negotiate business deals and oversee contract negotiations.Develop expertise across a wide range of technologies and the associated consulting practices that support them to guide customers in their transformational efforts.Develop the administrative and reporting skills to help manage your office performance as well as meet organizational goals.Work closely with AT&T Consulting Practice Leads, Consultants, and Core Sales Account teams to engage new clients and expand existing business engagements.Develop, design, and deliver proposals, presentations, and strategic pricing models in collaboration with internal and external partners to solve customer strategic business challenges.Ideal candidate:Education: Typically requires a Bachelor's degree.Experience:Requires a minimum of 8 years exceeding targets as an individual contributor selling IT or Telecommunications services to Enterprise and SLED/Federal customers.Requires a minimum of 3 years' experience selling IT Consulting and Professional Services.Salary and Benefits:Our Lead Business Development Mgr 2 ATC earns between $122,000 - $183,000 + $80,000 if all sales goals are met.
