Lead Caregiver - KISCO Senior Living : Job Details

The Lead Resident Assistant meets community residents needs by helping with activities of daily living and coordinating services to residents.

This is a full-time position, Tuesday-Saturday, 6am-2:30pm.

Pay range: $23-24/hr

Hiring bonus: $500

What will I do every day?

• Observe and monitor residents for any changes in condition
• Assure distribution of meal trays and assist with serving and clearing of all tables after meals
• Assist or provide supervision for residents performing activities of daily living
• Perform the following tasks: vital signs, weight, diabetic testing and/or insulin injections, medication assistance, ambulation, and other activities
• Support and lead resident-centered wellness program activities
• Monitor medication cart/storage on a weekly basis
• Implement required new hire training and ongoing skills training for associates
• As well as perform other related duties as required

What will I need to be successful in this role?

• Bring a smile to work every day
• Be a great team player
• High school education preferred
• Nursing assistant course a plus
• 1-3 years of experience in Senior Living as a Caregiver
• Must be 21 years of age (or meet State requirements)

Special Requirements/Certifications I may need?

• First Aid certification and CPR, if required
• Must be able to meet state training requirements and/or certifications
• Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) a plus
