The Lead Caregiver at Senior Helpers. The primary responsibilities of the Lead Caregiver include supporting a team of caregivers, developing care plans, and ensuring the highest level of quality care for our clients.Compensation & Benefits:The Lead Caregiver position offers a competitive salary range of $19.50-$20.00 per hour, dependent on experience and qualifications. This is a full time position. 40-45 hours/ week . Weekends are required. Available Schedules : Thursday - Monday or Wednesday - Sunday Shift times would vary on business need; 6am-3pm, 8-5pm or 10am-7pm typically with flexibility to be available for occasional overnights or evening shifts.Responsibilities:- Support and train a team of caregivers, providing support, guidance, and training as needed- Assist in helping develop personalized care plans for each client based on their specific needs and preferences to reduce the risk of adverse events and hospitalizations. - Coordinate and schedule caregiver shifts to ensure adequate coverage for clients- Conduct regular check-ins with clients and caregivers to ensure quality care and address any concerns- Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and medication management- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients- Perform light housekeeping duties and meal preparation as needed- Communicate with clients' families and medical professionals as necessary- Maintain accurate and updated records of client care and progressRequirements:- High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework in healthcare or related field preferred- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to effectively manage a team- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Compassionate and patient attitude towards seniors and their care needs- Fluent in English, both written and verbal- Must pass a background check and drug screen
