In addition to working as a CAREGiver, the Lead CAREGiver serves as a counselor, guide, coach, and mentor in a long-term, ongoing relationship with CAREGivers. LEAD CAREGiver will provide CLIENT support through Quality Assurance activities in efforts to improve client retention. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the elderly or persons with disabilities with daily living activities at the person's home or in a care facility. Duties performed at a place of residence may include keeping house (making beds, doing laundry, washing dishes) and preparing meals. May aid at non-residential care facilities. May advise families, the elderly, convalescents, and persons with disabilities regarding such things as nutrition, cleanliness, and household activities.

- Contribute to a positive living environment while enhancing the client's quality of life
- Immediately report changes in client's needs or living conditions. Regularly communicate with office staff
- Demonstrates high accountability and leadership skills, maintaining and encouraging a positive work atmosphere.
- Demonstrates an accurate understanding of company policies and upholds them consistently while showing enthusiasm for and interest in assigned roles.
- Teaches/Re-educates CAREGivers about company policies and helps develop/maintain the skills of CAREGivers.
- Listens to Caregiver's questions and concerns and responds in a timely manner and/or relays concerns to supervisor for resolution.
- Participates in Quality Assurance activities such as introductions and supervisory visits.
- Demonstrated sound judgement, handles difficult situations in a tactful manner & adapts to changing situations.
- Assists with roll out of new initiatives that impact CAREGivers and Clients.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- To be a qualified driver you must possess a reliable vehicle, valid driver's license and auto insurance on the vehicle being used.
- Must be insurable and bondable throughout employment to provide transportation on behalf of and to transport clients.
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check, DMV check and drug screen
- Ability to care for clients with dignity, and respectful of others and their property
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in a friendly and congenial manner
- Ability to work independently without supervision in a safe manner always
- Willingness to drive to all client locations in the specified service areas
- The person must be able to lift and carry up to 25lbs.
