About Our ClientOur client is a renowned general contractor in Manhattan specializing in luxury high-end residential construction. Their projects range from gut renovation on townhome and brownstones, to apratments and penthouses - serving some of the most prestigious clients in New York City.
Job Description- Perform and oversee custom carpentry tasks, including framing, trim, cabinetry, and millwork installation.
- Lead and mentor a team of carpenters, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and designers to interpret and implement plans accurately.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment, following all safety protocols and regulations.
- Inspect work progress and resolve any issues to maintain the highest standards of craftsmanship.

The Successful Applicant- Minimum of 5 years of professional carpentry experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience working on high-end residential projects in Manhattan or similar urban environments.
- Expertise in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and detailed specifications.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for quality craftsmanship.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with NYC building codes and regulations.
