Discover Impactful Work:

The Lead Customer Service Representative will provide high-level customer service to internal and external customers with the goal of maintaining meaningful business relationships. Our ideal candidate will be customer-oriented, an advocate for Thermo Fisher Scientific, and eager to drive growth.

A Day In The Life:

  • Determine customer needs and provide world-class assistance.
  • Receive, enter, and provide customer service for all incoming orders, purchase orders, quotations, etc. including phone calls; issue credit and debit memos when necessary.
  • Manage shipments and logistics including creating deliveries, arranging freight forwarder pickup and deliveries, flight reservations, and ensure all needed documents are completed; update all necessary forms and schedules.
  • Assist with customer needs; Review and respond to customer inquiries concerning order errors, credit hold, customer inquiries, oversights, pricing discrepancies, allocation of products, replacements, shipment delays, etc.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex challenges to deliver exceptional customer experience.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Other duties as needed to meet our mission, quality objectives, and 4i values.

Keys To Success:

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:

  • 3+ years of international sales and logistics experience; Life sciences or medical device industry preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • SAP knowledge required.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Knowledge and understanding of international regulations, with a focus on medical device sales, shipping, handling, and labeling.
  • Must be team-oriented and promote a harmonious work environment.
  • Excellent communication skills required; both oral and written.
  • Must be organized, have strong time management skills, and be detail-oriented.

Compensation And Benefits:

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in California is $21.76-$32.64.
