This is a Hybrid position requiring 3 days/week in the office. Prefer candidates in NJ/Philadelphia area. Will also consider candidates in Chicagoland area.
The Lead Development Representative is primarily responsible for increasing the volume of new opportunities and expanding existing relationships across multiple disciplines.
Serve as the first point of contact to qualify initial customer inquiries. Assign, and qualify marketing qualified leads to support a best-in-class customer experience. Share in the ownership of the opportunity from lead to order.
Assuring all regional lead queues are maintained to existing service level agreements. Assists sales in re-engagement of dormant enterprise leads.
Promote and support a portfolio of solutions to existing accounts. Identify prospects and develop opportunities to promote cross-functional capabilities.
Utilizes CRM to create, monitor and recommend lead generation plans to ensure a healthy sales pipeline.
Independently identify and pursue prospects through various lead-generating activities, including leadership with industry associations, tradeshow attendance, market research and relationship development.
Meet with prospects to identify and qualify their current and future needs. Gain an understanding of the decision-makers, personas, delivery timeframes, budget, challenges, and regulations.
Supports the development of sales presentations and presents to key stakeholders, prepare and review quotations.
Meets or exceeds assigned sales targets on a monthly/quarterly basis.

Total Rewards: The target annual pay range for this position is $62,500 - $75,000 which includes a base salary of $50,000. - $60,000. and 100% on target performance. Members of the sales function are eligible to participate in the UL Solutions Sales Incentive Plan. The annual target incentive for this position is 25% of the base salary, paid quarterly, and is contingent upon performance. Employees are eligible for health benefits such as medical, dental and vision; wellness benefits such as mental & financial health; and retirement savings (401K) commensurate with the standard rewards offered in each individual location or country, for the relevant position level.
We also provide employees with paid time off including vacation (15 days), holiday including floating holidays (12 days) and sick time off (72 hours).

Higher Secondary Education and two years of directly related experience.
Demonstrated ability to use various PC-based software packages for basic word processing, graphics, and spreadsheets.
Strong communication skills are required.
Must live in NJ/Philadelphia or Chicagoland area.
