Duration: Direct HireDescription:This role requires a proactive approach to safety, strong presence on the floor, and the ability to work closely with plant personnel to foster a culture of safety and compliance.Must take a hands-on approach and actively promote safety and environmental health on the plant floorConduct regular safety inspections and audits on the plant floor to identify and mitigate hazardsResponsibilities:This role requires a proactive approach to safety, strong presence on the floor, and the ability to work closely with plant personnel to foster a culture of safety and compliance.Must take a hands-on approach and actively promote safety and environmental health on the plant floorConduct regular safety inspections and audits on the plant floor to identify and mitigate hazardsRespond promptly to safety incidents and near-misses, conducting thorough investigations and root cause analysesDevelop and deliver EHS training programs for plant personnel, including new hire orientation, safety procedures, and emergency responseAssist in the development and implementation of safety programs and initiatives aimed at reducing workplace hazardsWork with cross-functional teams to implement safety improvements and best practicesOversee the continued compliance to a comprehensive process safety management (PSM) programEnsure compliance with OSHA PSM standards, EPA RMP regulations, and other relevant safety regulationsExperience:Bachelor's degree in occupational safety and health and/or engineeringMinimum 5 years of experience in the Environmental, Health, and Safety fieldStrong Process Safety Management (PSM) regulatory knowledgeManufacturing, Engineering, Process Safety Management, and Operations experienceExcellent interpersonal and communication skills.Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of programsTravel 0-10%Skills:Advanced degree in EHS (M.S.)Certified Safety Professional (CSP)Chemical manufacturing experienceEducation:Advanced degree in EHS (M.S.)About US Tech Solutions:US Tech Solutions is a global staff augmentation firm providing a wide range of talent on-demand and total workforce solutions.
